My sweet tooth could not have come at a better time, too. (Usually I am a salty kind of gal, I have, in the past, always chosen pickles over cookies and a second helping of the main entree instead of saving room for the dessert.) With this 80 degree weather I was very happy to not only find the peaches on sale but a few that were ripe enough to eat tonight!
I got this recipe inspiration from: http://followinginmyshoes.com/my-recipes/grilled-peaches-and-honey-cinnamon-caramel-sauce/. Since I still do not own a blender, I chose to just buy whipped cream at the grocery store. I think the recipe I made still tasted pretty dang good on a hot day like today. And, it satisfied my craving for that something sweet and juicy, too!
Ingredients:
* 4 Peaches
* Fat Free Whipped Cream
* Caramel Sauce
Cooking Directions:
First, preheat your George Foreman, or grill, to medium hot.
Next, cut the peaches into quarters.
Place the peaches on the hot grill.
After a minute or so flip the peaches so the other side can grill nicely. (There should be nicely defined grill marks on both sides of the peach.)
Remove from heat and place in a serving bowl.
Drizzle desired amount of caramel sauce over the peaches.
Spray the whipped cream over the top generously and then serve immediately.
